The Oldehove, an unfinished tower built in the 16th century, originally intended to have a church built alongside it. The 39m high tower leans at 1.99m off the perpendicular, giving it a greater tilt than the more famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. Leeuwarden, European Capital of Culture 2018, Netherlands © Rudolf Abraham
