St Oswald's Way is a 97 mile (156km) hiking trail from Holy Island (Lindisfarne) on the coast to Heavenfield near Hadrian's Wall, passing through a wealth of historical sites and the beautiful landscapes of Northumberland National Park and the Northumberland Coast AONB. The Northumberland Coast Path runs from Cresswell to Berwick-upon-Tweed and overlaps with part of St Oswald's Way.
