Rudolf Abraham is an award-winning travel and documentary photographer specialising in central and southeast Europe, in particular Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Switzerland, Montenegro, the Balkans – a part of the world he has been visiting for well over two decades, has lived and worked in, and has been photographing and writing about since 2003.

His images are published widely in magazines including the likes of BBC Countryfile, B. Inspired (Brussels Airlines), Easyjet Traveller, Evening Standard, Family Traveller, Geographical, Hidden Europe, The Independent, JRNY Magazine, Meridien, Morning Calm (Korean Airlines), The National, National Geographic Traveller (UK), Songlines, The Telegraph, The Great Outdoors, Tonic, Wanderlust etc, and have appeared in the British Life Photography Awards Portfolio.

Rudolf is the author of over a dozen books and has contributed to many more, for publishers including Bradt, Cicerone, DK Eyewitness, Lonely Planet, Rough Guides, Vertebrate and National Geographic Traveller. He is based in London, and for part of the year in Croatia.
